Are you looking for amazing self care weekend ideas? This post is all about how to have a self care weekend.
The weekend is finally here after a crazy week, and you looking forward to time to refresh and recharge. You deserve this weekend to practice self-care and do all the things that make you happy.
What is self-care?
When people think of self-care they often think of drinking tea, bubble baths, and yoga. These are all great ideas, but self care is beyond the “self care aesthetic” and “self care Sunday” Insta worthy pics.
Self care is about promoting your own physical, mental, and emotional health. It is about doing things that you love that support a healthy and happy you.
Planning a self-care weekend
When you are planning your self care weekend, plan things that will truly make you the most happy and relaxed version of yourself. That might mean saying no to people, and that’s ok. Another tip is to make sure you don’t jam pack your weekend with too many activities. Give yourself time to decompress and relax your mind.
Remember your self-care weekend is about yourSELF. Do the things that make you happy and support your well-being.
Here is one of my absolute favorite self-care quotes.
“It’s not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, and make your happiness a priority. It’s necessary”mandy hale
How to have a self care weekend
Everyone’s self care weekend is going to look different because everyone’s wants and needs are different. Your weekend might include hanging out with lots of friends because that’s what makes you happy and improves your mental health. Your weekend could also look like reading a good book in bed all day because that’s what’s best for your emotional well-being.
When planning a self-care weekend, always remember to choose things that make you happy and support your physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
